The Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR) is designed to help students articulate the professional
skills – or Institutional Competencies – they achieve through their UGA courses and activities. Faculty
and staff play a vital role in this process, helping to ensure that students make the most of this useful
tool.
As a faculty or staff member, you can support your students by:
- Submitting your courses and activities for fulfillment of one or more Institutional
Competencies so that these experiences will appear on the CLR.
- Participating in the Assessment process by providing evidence of student learning to help
evaluate the integration of ICs in your courses and activities.
- Utilizing the Marketing Toolkit to clearly and confidently talk about the CLR with your students
and other audiences.
“I think it’s really cool that the CLR is validated by faculty at UGA. It gives validity to the fact that students worked hard and put in the hours.”
